Terms of Use for Rate My FPL

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rate My FPL iOS application (the "App") and its free and premium services. By downloading, purchasing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Apple licence terms

The App is licensed, not sold. Your licence to the App is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"). These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA by governing the App's service, analysis and purchase features. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a matter governed by that agreement, the Apple Standard EULA controls.

Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for the App except as required by applicable law or the Apple Standard EULA.

2. Who may use the App

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. You must comply with the App Store terms that apply to your Apple account.

3. What the App does

Rate My FPL is an independent fantasy-football analysis tool. It can:

• find a publicly accessible Fantasy Premier League team from a team or manager search;
• recognise a squad from a screenshot you select;
• analyse players, fixtures, predicted points and fixture difficulty;
• generate a SquadScore, weaknesses and improvement tips;
• save scan results locally on your device; and
• create an image and text for you to share.

Some information is available only with premium access. Features, presentation and supported data sources may evolve over time.

4. Predictions and informational disclaimer

Scores, predicted points, fixture difficulty, percentile comparisons, potential-points estimates, tips and other outputs are automated estimates based on available football data and our calculation methods. They are opinions and projections, not facts or guarantees.

Football data can be incomplete, delayed, incorrect or changed after analysis. Actual selection, minutes, injuries, transfers, fixtures and results may differ materially. You are responsible for all fantasy-team decisions you make.

The App does not provide financial, betting, gambling or professional advice. Do not stake money or make other material decisions in reliance on an App output.

5. Your content and permitted use

You may select an FPL screenshot for on-device analysis and share result cards created by the App. You retain any rights you have in content you provide. You give the App permission to access and process the selected content only as needed to provide the requested feature.

You must have the right to use any screenshot or other content you select or share. Do not use the App to violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights or other rights. Public availability of a team name or manager name does not authorise harassment, profiling or misuse.

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the App for lawful personal use. You may share App-generated result cards for personal and social use, including the Rate My FPL branding included in them.

6. Free scans

The App provides two free scans over the lifetime of the free allowance. A device-level record used to enforce the allowance may remain after the App is deleted or reinstalled. Deleting the App, clearing history, changing scan method or reinstalling does not entitle you to a new free allowance.

We may correct free-scan counts affected by abuse, technical errors or fraud. This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Premium products

The App may offer:

• a weekly auto-renewable subscription;
• an annual auto-renewable subscription; and
• a one-time, non-consumable lifetime premium purchase.

The exact products, local price, currency, taxes, subscription period and included features shown on the purchase screen before confirmation form part of your purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account after you confirm the purchase.

Premium access may include additional scans, detailed squad analysis, player projections, fixture difficulty and improvement tips. The purchase screen controls if its description differs from this general summary.

7.1 Auto-renewable subscriptions

A weekly or annual subscription automatically renews for another period of the same length unless you cancel it through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Renewal is charged at the price Apple displays to you, subject to any advance notice or consent required for a price change.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; premium access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid period unless Apple states otherwise.

7.2 Lifetime premium

Lifetime premium is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the premium features offered under that product for as long as the App and those services remain available and supported. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the App/service, not the lifetime of any individual, and does not promise that the App will operate forever or that every present feature will remain unchanged. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights or any remedy available if the product is not supplied as legally required.

7.3 Restoring purchases

Use Restore Purchases in the App to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple account. Restoration depends on the relevant purchase records, account status and App Store rules. Consumable or promotional access, if ever offered, may not be restorable unless stated otherwise.

7.4 Billing and refunds

Apple processes App Store billing. We do not receive your full payment-card details and cannot directly cancel an App Store subscription. Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable consumer law. You may request a refund through Apple's purchase-support process.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the App unlawfully or to infringe another person's rights;
• attempt to bypass the paywall, free-scan limit, receipt validation or access controls;
• reverse engineer, decompile, modify or redistribute the App except where applicable law expressly allows it;
• use automation to overload, scrape or disrupt the App or its third-party data services;
• introduce malware or interfere with the App's security or operation;
• misrepresent App outputs as official Premier League or guaranteed information; or
• use another person's public team information for harassment, discrimination or other harmful purposes.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks or material breach of these Terms.

9. Ownership

The App, its software, design, scoring presentation, branding, logo and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use and share result cards described above, no rights are transferred to you.

Third-party football data, club names, player names, competition names, badges and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Your use of third-party services remains subject to their terms.

10. No affiliation with FPL or the Premier League

Rate My FPL is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, its clubs or their licensors. "Premier League", "Fantasy Premier League", "FPL" and related marks are property of their respective owners. References are descriptive and identify the service with which the App interoperates.

11. Third-party services and availability

The App depends on App Store services, device capabilities and third-party football data, hosting and purchase-management services. We do not control those services and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy or continued compatibility. A provider may change, restrict or discontinue access, causing a feature to be delayed, changed or unavailable.

Links and integrations do not imply our endorsement of a third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its terms and privacy policy.

12. Updates, changes and discontinuation

We may update the App to improve functionality, security, legal compliance or compatibility. An update may add, modify or remove features. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the App where reasonably necessary, including because a third-party data source becomes unavailable.

We will honour mandatory consumer rights and will not use this section to avoid obligations for a paid product. Where legally required, we will provide reasonable notice of a material adverse change.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully accurate or compatible with every device or future FPL format. The Apple Standard EULA contains additional warranty provisions that apply to the licensed App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of data, opportunity, anticipated fantasy points, rankings, goodwill or profits arising from use of or inability to use the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the App will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App or premium access during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and the minimum amount required by law.

These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App. It forms part of the information you should review before using the App or buying premium access.

16. Ending use

You may stop using the App at any time. You remain responsible for cancelling any auto-renewable subscription through Apple.

We may terminate or restrict your right to use the App if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or misuse the services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions—will survive.

17. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If the law where you live gives you mandatory consumer rights or access to a particular court or dispute-resolution forum, these Terms do not reduce those rights. The Apple Standard EULA includes a separate governing-law provision for the App licence.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, providers or law. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. If a material change requires consent, we will request it. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
